Why Now?
Latino families have been a powerful driving force in the U.S. housing market, and their impact continues to grow. Over the past decade, Latinos accounted for more than half of the net U.S. homeownership growth. In 2024, Hispanic households contributed the largest gain of any group—adding a net of 238,000 new homeowners. This momentum is especially visible in our home state of Texas, where nearly 40% of residents identify as Hispanic or Latino.
